Silvia Dos Anjos, founder of Melting Trad, has studied applied foreign languages.
Her combined Portuguese and Italian origins immersed her in different languages and cultures from the earliest age - a winning card in the epoch of Europe, which she played to advantage by creating Melting Trad in August 2007.

Melting Trad... but where does the name come from?

It refers to the expression 
“Melting-Pot”: mixture of cultures, identities, origins, colours.
Thus Melting Trad is to translation what the Melting Pot is to history: a kaleidoscope of cultures and tongues.

Who else but Melting Trad could choose to offer a multicultural cocktail-party to celebrate its “birthday” and the opening of its internet site?

During this enjoyable evening to the sound of the Chinese zither, Silvia Dos Anjos was able to thank her clients and partners by taking them on a little gustative excursion.
